Recently, DentiMax extended its charitable support in Samoa by donating a Dream Sensor, imaging software, and a laptop to help local dental providers better serve patients in need. The donation was coordinated before the trip, with DentiMax providing the equipment and software to Dr. Smith in Arizona before he traveled to Samoa to deliver and use the technology at the Pesega Dental Clinic.
DentiMax has long believed that dental technology can do more than improve efficiency inside a practice. In the right hands, it can help expand access to care, improve diagnoses, and make treatment possible for patients who may otherwise go without.
Supporting Dental Care in Samoa
Access to dental care can be challenging in Samoa, where clinics often serve high patient volumes while working with limited equipment and resources. In communities where access to modern dental technology can be limited, the ability to take clear digital X-rays can make a meaningful difference.
Digital sensors and imaging software help dental providers diagnose decay, evaluate treatment needs, and explain conditions to patients more clearly. For clinics serving children, families, and underserved communities, this can improve both the speed and quality of care.

During the visit, the donated DentiMax equipment was used in clinical settings to support patient care and dental outreach. The photos from the trip show a DentiMax Dream Sensor and imaging software being put to work directly with patients at the Pesega Dental Clinic, along with the equipment being handed over to the clinic team.
The donation reflects DentiMax’s ongoing commitment to supporting dental professionals serving communities with limited access to care. By providing digital imaging technology, the company hopes to help clinicians diagnose earlier, treat more efficiently, and continue expanding access to quality dental care.
"It was rewarding to deliver equipment that will continue supporting the clinic long after our visit," said Dr. Smith. "Reliable digital imaging helps clinicians diagnose with confidence, communicate findings with patients, and focus more of their time on providing care."
This work builds on DentiMax’s earlier support in the region. In 2023, DentiMax founder and CEO David Arnett traveled to Samoa and donated sensors, laptops, and imaging software to local clinics, including the government dental clinic and a volunteer-run clinic providing free care to children and families. The charitable program has also supported clinics in Tonga and Guatemala.
DentiMax is grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in supporting the dedicated dental professionals serving communities in Samoa. Seeing our technology help clinicians care for patients is one of the most meaningful ways we can contribute.
About DentiMax
DentiMax builds dental imaging and practice management technology for dental offices across the country. The company designs sensors, imaging software, and practice management tools with the same goal that guided this donation: making it easier for dental professionals to do their best work. That means hardware that holds up in daily use, software that is straightforward to learn, and support from people who understand how a busy practice runs.
The Dream Sensor donated in Samoa is the same sensor DentiMax provides to practices every day. It captures sharp, reliable digital X-rays and works with the imaging software clinicians use to diagnose and plan treatment. Whether the setting is a large group practice in the United States or a single clinic in Samoa, the priority stays the same. Good tools help providers deliver better care, and that care reaches more patients.
